Xia joined the mass spectrometry team in 1998, bringing with her over ten years of experience in the field. After completing her B.S. in Chemistry from Beijing Normal University, Xia came to the U.S. and obtained both her M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Chemistry at UCSD. She is now working at Structural Genomix.
