Rachel D. Lowe

Rachel had a Bachelor of Science degree in Forensic and Analytical Chemistry. Her honors thesis for her Bachelor of Science is in the area of Neurodegenerative Diseases entitled "Investigation of Native and Recombinant a-synuclein using Atomic Force Microscopy". She was undertaking a Ph.D. in Forensic Chemistry. Her area of interest was in the development of mass spectrometry detection method for small molecule analytes relevant in forensic investigations. Her project focus was to perform silicon modification and biomolecule immobilization to facilitate mass analysis.
